Waverly DuraPette precision mechanical pipettes are the newly designed work-horse pipettes for everyday extensive use, such as in a research lab. You can depend on them to maintain superior accuracy, precision, and calibration over a long period of time despite high-tasking use. We like to refer to them as the new-age ‘Glison-style’ pipettes as they have a similar construction with the same great quality and durability as the old Gilson pipettes but now with new ergonomic features such as lighter body weight and reduced plunger force to prevent RSI (repetitive stress injury). Waverly’s DuraPette precision pipettes are designed with a finger hook for comfort and single-hand operation. Chemically and UV resistant, maintenance-free seals and finely polished pistons provide unsurpassed accuracy sample after sample. The continuously adjustable digital micrometer is slightly recessed with a volume lock to prevent unintentional change while pipetting. The plunger thumb button rotates freely with the movement of your thumb in the natural pipetting motion for increased ergonomics. DuraPettes are adjustable-volume pipettes available in single-channel and multichannel configurations. All Waverly pipettes work with universal pipette tips from most manufacturers worldwide however we recommend using them with KaliTips; superior quality universal-fitting pipette tips that work perfectly with these and other pipettes.
