They Can Also Be Used In Witbiers for a more Orange type Citrus Aroma. Origin Was From Open pollination of a Fuggle seedling, derived from Fuggle and Serebrianka. Cascade Are A Mid-Season Fruiting Hop. It Was The First commercial hop from the USDA-ARS breeding program; bred in 1956 and realeased in 1972.
